We found the perfect apartment!!!! I am in love with it and it comes with the most amazing deal!!!!! Everything is great, all we need is for our credit to approve and that is what worries me. I have faith that everything will work out. It's just I hope it's in our favor. This would be the ultimate blessing for us at this time. If you read this, please send out a little prayer our way! We could use all the help we can get! Thanks!
Although we are going through a rough time, we are certainly blessed. We have a roof over our head's, warmth from the cold, food in our bellies, our health, family and friends, and so much more! I'm so thankful for Alex and Nick, they make my life wonderful! This has been a tough year for us, but god has a plan for us and we're steady trying to figure it out! I think we have goals and dreams and I think that we will achieve them. It gets hard and takes a toll on all of us, even the ones that are close to us, but I know we'll get there! We have a wonderful support team who keep us on our feet and I am so thankful for them! I hope that next year is great! Nick will get his associates degree and continue his education and I'm curious to see where this designing will take me. I'm excited for Alex and starting some programs where she will be interacting with other toddlers her age! This should be a really great year for us! We have a chance to get back on our feet and somewhat start over. I pray for a good year for us and all those who are here with us going through trials and tribulations.
Today was another day. I started potty training Alex on Tues., but she's yet to go in her potty. I have gotten tons of great advice from friends and family too, so thanks girls!
Yesterday, I was deprived from all Internet, due to our charger breaking for the 3rd time in less then a year. NEVER buy targus chargers. They only last a few months before they brake. I hate them.
So, today Nick took it back again to best buy and got another one, but this time he had to pay an extra 10 bucks. It just so happens they have a 70% rate of people returning the targus charger for braking.....ridiculous. Although this charger looks well built this time. I guess we'll see in a few months!
We found the apartments we want to move in, now we just need the money. about 1,500. I'm really scared. I need to get a job, find Alex a daycare( boo woo, sniff ), and still manage to keep everything else caught up. It's so hard to stay positive, when so many things are going wrong. We have been having problems for years now non stop, they never go away. I know these obstacles have made us stronger, but now i just want some peace in our home, where ever that may be. We deserve it. If you read this, please pray for us, we can use all the help we can get! Thank you! <3
We got some surprising news this weekend. Seems we have til December 16th to move out. The owners want the house back. I'm totally freaking out. I don't know what we're going to do or what our options are. This is all very sudden. We have no savings and little time. I feel terrible. I had plans to get a job when Alex starts pre-K, but now I have to get one and I'm devastated. The thought of putting Alex in daycare breaks my heart. That is if we even find something. Anyway, I had to get that out since it's the only on my mind for days now.
This week has been pretty good. I have learned alot in my first week of photoshop elements7. I want to get Photoshop now! I guess it's better. Hopefully I can talk my honey in to it!!!
I have been designing alot of papers, but that is about it! I made a tag and inked the edges, that came out pretty good. I also dabbled a little in ric rac and ribbon, still workin on perfecting that. I also made a cute little owl, I love the way it came out! I hope I get better and better at this whole designing thing! Fingers-crossed. I have a good support team.....family and friends! I can't wait to be a pro! I'm on a mission, it's Designer or Bust!!!! Wish me luck!♥
First , I wanna thank Brooke-in Oregon again for helping me out with some great sites! I spent hours reading and watching tutorials and learned some new interesting things!
I am still frustrated, I'm the type of person who wants to be a pro at whatever I'm doing, so sitting back totally confused is going to need some getting used to!
We'll see, like my friend Katherine says, "You'll get the hang of it!!" I belive I will.
I'm getting a bit aggravated. I feel like I'm networking up a strom, but I've yet to recieve any advice from anybody. I don't know why. Everyone learns somewhere!
It's just I want to do this so bad. It would be such a dream to be a designer. Idk, maybe I should just mess around more on photoshop by myself, but it just overwhelms me. I've seen a lot of tutorials, but just basic stuff. I've learned some great stuff to use when using other peoples kits, but I want to know how to make it myself! Please if you come across my blog, I would greatly appreciate some great advice, I'll love you forever!! Thanks.

Today is monday, Joy!! I got up this morning with a mission. I really need to get going on finding some woderful tutorials to find out how to design embellishments and paper. It's alot harder than I thought. I'm getting a little frustrated, but it's nothing I can't handle. I just need to keep looking and playing around with my Photoshop! I joined a new site today from Ning.com. It's called Digiscrap 101. It has some great tutorials, not to design, but for making layouts, making templates, etc. I did learn some great stuff though! So, the day is still somewhat early and I have more searching to do! Good day!
