R.I.P. Michael Jackson

Wow, I still can't believe the news, that Michael Jackson is gone. I truly was a big fan of his music. I remember some of my earliest memories, were of my mom playing his records while she cleaned the house and we sang and danced. Watching Motown's 25th anniversary on VHS often and watching in amazement as he moon walked across the floor, Genius.

He was an inspiration, aside from his personal troubles. He tried to change the world and in many ways through his music and life, did.

I called my mom and we talked about it for awhile and to my surprise she cried...pretty hard. He defiantly was a part of our family and will be in mine as well and is. Alexandra loves THRILLER! We spent some of the day watching Thriller, Ghost, and Captain EO! He was and always will be the greatest entertainer who ever lived, he had a charm and magical way about him! He was The King Of Pop.

I pray for his 3 children and his family who is left with the sudden loss of such a big part of their life's. I keep watching the news and wish I myself could make it down to show my support. I have never seen such devoted fans who have showed up singing and dancing to his many hits, it is a celebration of his life, which no one could ask for more! I hope he is able to look down and see his fans and those around the world celebrate his life. Rest In Peace and know that we will never forget you! God Bless<3

I just wanted to share!

So, I'm calling it.....It's official, my little BIG girl is potty trained! Woo Hoo, I never thought I'd make it! She has successfully gone in the potty with no accidents for 5 days! We even went to the park and the store and she stayed dry the whole time! I'm so proud of her!

Nick loves his new job, but he's super busy. I haven't really seen or talked to him much. He works Monday through Friday, goes to school Monday and Friday night and Saturday morning all in San Diego.

Things are good and I'm really excited about he weekend! Nick gets his first paycheck and Father's day is on Sunday! I am working on some kits and it's not easy, my idea's are endless, it's just turning into a reality. I'm staying positive and trying and that all that matter's for now! Thanks for stopping by and feel free to follow by blog and my journey! God Bless.

Pee Pee in the Potty!

Alex has been kicking potty training butt! She has peed in the potty at least once a day for 5 days straight! I can't believe it! I was getting a little nervous she'd never do it and here she is! I introduced the potty to her over a year ago and she was not having it so I put it away for about 6 months. I tried again and she wasn't into it again. But when she turned 3 I thought maybe I'm the problem? I'll say it, I was being lazy when it came down to it, so I put her in some panties and there were some accidents, but here she is peeing in her potty and she loves it! We made a potty chart and it's quickly filling up with stickers! AMAZING! I even made her a potty certificate:

And here's her potty chart:So, there you have it! I'm not calling her "officially" potty trained, but she pretty close! I'm very proud of my little girl and it is a huge accomplishment! I'm super excited to save money on diapers and wipes! It's a great time in our home!!! God Bless!

I want this soooo bad! <3

First I'll start of with a few LO's I did recently that I really enjoyed making!

This first one I made for Nick for Father's day! I'm am really looking forward to it! I am trying to plan something special for him, but I really don't know what to do! I think maybe we'll have lunch somewhere in Temecula and then go to Harveston and walk around the lake, even maybe rent a paddle boat!

This next one I scrap lifted, I just thought it was such a cute page I had to make my own! Reading about all my drama over the past few months, I'm sure you have noticed we aren't doing too well financially. So I wasn't able to make it exactly as the original, but I think it came out really cute considering I got everything for free or made it myself!

So yeah, there's a couple! Anywho, I have been really thinking about this designing thing and I still want it pretty bad. I am even thinking about going back to school for graphic design and also photography. I can see myself doing this, I really love scrapping! I always hear people say "Do what you love" well I love this! If I could get the tools and skills to succeed then life would be perfect!!! IDK, I just think that this is what I'm going to do as a living. Wish me luck! My only problem is all my other problems! My life is a mess right now. Not having our own home, not having Nick around everyday, not having money, it all plays a big part in staying positive and going for my dream, but now that Nick is working and making a salary in a field that is the reason he went to school, I feel very positive about our future! So, I know things are going to get better! So, yes I hope to be getting things on a roll within the next year! So, keep in touch to see how things are going! Thanks for stopping by!

What's new?

Well, we didn't make it to Disneyland for Alex's B-day. We just didn't have the money. Nick had been doing some work for a friend of a friend who does landscaping, among other things and the guy totally screwed Nick over by not paying him. I was so mad. We were so sad, but we took her to our favorite pizza place and she had a blast! We bought a few decorations, with her pals "The Backyardigans" as the theme and she was Happy! My mom or sisters didn't make it, which meant my niece and nephew couldn't either. That was disappointing. But all in all it was a fantastic day! We ate and played hard, got tons of tickets and went on a few rides! Good Times<3

Nick starts his new job today @ South Bay Tech. I'm so excited for him. I'm a bit nervous. It sounds like big stuff. But if he shined in his interview and resume, maybe I'm not giving him enough credit. I think I underestimate him alot. But the truth is, Nick is smart! He does great in school he got this amazing job, he's got what it takes! I'm very proud of him and I hope one day all the nay sayers will eat their words! So many people have put him down and say things about him and it really makes me mad, I understand some things, but Nick has been thinking about the bigger picture, that's why he went back to school. To get an education and a great career.
For us! I have faith in him.

Other than all that, things are getting better, slowly but surely! I'm excited to see what the near future has to bring us. So, keep praying for my family! Things are looking up!!!! God bless!
