Snow White: AKA Alexandra.

Alex is going to be Snow White for Halloween! The other day I wanted to try out a tutorial from Kandee Johnson, on Snow White, but Alex's hair is way to thin. I was so bummed because the hair was so dead on! So, I just curled her hair and put a ribbon in it! I think she looks adorable!
I'm so excited for Halloween, Nick's mom, Karla, is coming over and we're going to make Halloween Cupcakes! It should be alot of fun. Friday we are going to go see Michael Jackson's movie "This is it", which I heard is really good from a friend who got to go see it Tuesday night. I'm so excited and I know Alex is going to love it!
So yeah that's what going on for the weekend! My mom is supposed to come over for the first time on Sunday, but I won't hold my breath, being that she rarely follows through on things, but I have my finger's crossed! So, thanks for stopping by, God Bless!

Ahhh Monday.

For some reason the weekend seemed so long and we didn't even really go anywhere or do our "to do" lists! LOL! Oh well, it's over and I'm glad it's Monday! Nick went back to work and it's just me and my daughter! Things are going well, Alex finally got her mattress and we were able to put her new bed together along with the bedspread we bought months ago! I wanted to put the matching curtains up, but we got the measurements wrong, so well wait on that. We also got her these really cute wall sticker's that go with her bedspread, but those didn't make it up yet! It's almost done though!<3
We did manage to go to best buy and get a new DVD player and charger for our laptop, finally!
Let me tell you a bit about this charger.......Originally we had the charger that came with the computer, well it broke, don't remember how though! Anywho, we went down to best buy and looked for a new one. They only had one brand, which was a universal charger. It was up there in price, but we really needed one. So, we bought it. A few months later it broke. So we took it back and they were great and let us exchange it. Five months later we were back with a broken charger. They were kind enough to give us another one, but the price went up and we had to pay the difference. A few months later, to our surprise, it broke. This time I contacted the manufacture and they replied quickly and with in a week I had the part I needed. Well, again a few months later it broke.
I cant' believe that we had gone through 4 charger's in a little over a year. Amazing. At this point, I'm steaming. We use our computer everyday, not to mention, these bad boys are expensive. So, I wrote them again and they are sending me another part, but it they had to wait for their shipment to come in, so I was looking for about a 3 week wait, HA! So, I was looking around the place and found the receipt from the last time we dealt with best buy, and I found it. When Nick got home I told him that we should go to best buy and tell them we need a new charger, since it hadn't even been a year since we got the last one. So, off we went and they gave us a $160 gift card! We bought a new DVD player and Charger! Ha, it was awesome! So we're happy campers!
Designing has really been put on hold due to the charger not working. But now that we have a new one I'd really like to start again. Well that's about it, Thank you for stopping by and God Bless!

He did it!

Last night, Nick Graduated! Woo Hoo, he achieved in getting his Associate of Science Degree in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology! (that was a mouth full)
I'm sooooo Proud of him, I never thought he would have gone this far, but he did and I couldn't be happier! Now that he's got the first half done, he'll be looking to get the second part done as well, but he would like to go to a four year now. So school will continue to be a big part of his life.
It was a really great night for us! His mother and grandmother also came and we were just so proud of him! There were alot of very nice people there, we met some friendly people who cheered for Nick too, it was too fun! We all had dinner after and all in all it was a great night. Can't wait to do it again!<3 Thanks for reading, bye!

So COOL!

So, I used to go on this website http://www.scrapblog.com/ all the time, but latley Or should I say since I got photoshop I haven't gone on there too much. Well, all of the sudden I started getting all these e-mail about people commenting on my pages...I was like "what's with the love?" Loving Life.

Yes, I am still alive. I have just been enjoying our home and the freedom that goes with it! LOL!Life is good! We have been putting the place together and making it feel more like home. We have alot to do, but we'll get there! I'm having alot of fun doing Alex's room! I can't wait til it's done, we just ordered her bed and we should get it next week, then it's our turn! I love it!

Home Sweet Home

Well, today is officially our last day here! I'm so excited! It has been a tough 2 years, one month, and 3 days. We have been through so much. I can't believe we finally get to go to our own home, just Nick, Alexandra, & Me! I feel so blessed and secure. It is the best feeling, to know that it is finally over. Amazing!
Tomorrow Nick is working a half day, then he's going to pick up the keys and he'll come pick us up and a few things if not all from here and we'll start moving! This Weekend<3

Awww this weekend was sooooo much fun! Friday, Nick had two tickets to see one of his favorite bands, Rise Against, so we ask my mom to babysit and we went down to San Diego and had alot of fun! It was really nice to have some alone time, just the two of us!
Saturday morning we woke up early, which sucked because I really wanted to sleep in! We got ready and went down to Temecula and went shopping! We each got a few things and got Alexandra some stuff too. From there we went to one of my favorite restaurant's, P.F. Chang's and had an awesome lunch! Yummy! After we spent way to long @ the mall, we headed down to my mom's to pick up my hunnie, I was so ready to see her. When we got there we hung out for a bit, had some dinner and headed back home. Sunday we went swimming at Nick's mom's and got ready and went and had dinner @ John's Pizza, sooooo much fun! It was a really great weekend! I'm so happy that we have been able to do extra stuff like we've been doing. It's tough when you can't and are stuck @ home on the weekends, I feel blessed and hope that the blessing's will continue. We are happy, healthy, loved, and blessed! I have been thinking positive and believing in our family and it's working, with alot of help from the lord! Life @ the moment....

Well, life at this very moment is bitter sweet. Although things have gotten better financially and we look forward to getting our own place, I still feel a bit unhappy.
I'll start with the good stuff first: Nick has really been working alot, which is great, but he is still in his probation time so once we get through that, I'll feel alot better. He does like it though, I think once he gets the hang of it, he'll really enjoy his work!
School is getting pretty tough, he has told his teacher's what's going on, as far as his drive and the amount of hours he puts into work. They seem to understand, but we'll see. It's his last classes before he graduate's this September! Woo Hoo!
Alex is doing great! I tell ya, she's been great since she turned 3. She's potty trained, she's eating well, she listens better, she's great! I have always loved to shop for my little girl, so when Nick got his 1st paycheck....SHOPPING SPREE!!!! Since we weren't able to get her gifts for her birthday, we had to make it up to her. So, we bought her some clothes and this weekend we'll get some toys for her!
As for our living situation, it's still good, but I think we are sooooooo ready to have somewhere to call our own, to call a HOME. It's been two long, long years and we need a place. So, Saturday Nick is going down to a few places to see if we can get an apartment. We're all so ready and we deserve it. I have been thinking positive and we will get through this. The devil is not going to win this time. We will and we're stronger than him and my faith in the lord will see us through.
I just wish it could be different for us, it's not fun when your doing the right thing, yet you pay the way for someone else's gain. I'm tried of it. We are good people.
On a lighter note, Nick got me a Bamboo Fun! I was so shocked. I wasn't excepting that! He's the best! Well, I gotta go, please keep praying for us and thanks for stopping by! God Bless.
