Yesterday we went to the Birch Aquarium @ Scripps in beautiful La Jolla. It was a blast! We were invited by my friend Jackie and her two boys, along with her little sister. They had a few tide pools with some pretty amazing little creatures in them! We were able to get up close and personal with them! It was really fun!



After the tide pools we went inside to check out the fish, jelly fish, sharks, and other sea friends!

It was allot of fun and I would totally go again! We haven't done something fun in awhile so it was a great start to a day packed full of activities! After we shopped in the gift shop, we left and went and had some lunch @ La Jolla beach! That was great we sat and made our lunch and had some fresh fruit! From there we re-parked the cars a ways down and walked around the beach and went and saw the cool tide pools and the cute sea loins!

It was a really great day!♥

My Goals or lack there of....

When I started this blog, I originally wanted to document my start as a digital scrapbook designer, but so much has happened since then that I haven't been able to really get too far.
I still want to do it, but I'm so overwhelmed with everything else.
I want to go to school, but with everything in a complete mess and not really knowing where we're going on this journey, I'm more confused than ever.
I would love to do what I see some of these woman do. To be able to stay home and do what I love, everyday, must be amazing.
I haven't found out much more information about designing, but I know the answers are out there somewhere! I just need to keep looking. I adore scrapping, with paper or digitally. I love it all! I couldn't see me doing anything that would make me happier as far as a career choice.

After Mother's Day!

My Mother's Day was great! First we got up and got ourselves ready. We went and picked up one of my favorite places for chicken, Jaun Pollo and that we took up to Nick's mom's house. We had a wonderful meal and talked and just had a great time! From there we took a golf cart ride and took some picture along the way.(posted up top!)

After that we went to my mom's and had dinner and I got to meet my niece, Josselyn! She is so cute! So yeah, we got home pretty late, but it was a really great day! Being a mom has it's up's and down's, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Alexandra is my everything and she accepts me as I am and you can never ask for more than that! She Wonderful!♥

Yay!!!

Today we get to see Nick! I'm so excited, considering it's been awhile. He is still looking for a job, but had an interview yesterday, he said went well, let's Cross our fingers! I just want him to work and start making some money. Alexandra's birthday is coming up, I'm so excited!!! I really want to take her to Disneyland. She's had such a crappy year so far and I just want to make her day special and I know she'd love to see her pal Mickey Mouse! Plus what better time to go then 2-fer time?! I told Nick we have to do whatever we can and if there's a will there's a way! So, that about it on the family scene. Things are getting good, Nick and I are doing great, I love being here, life is good. Keep praying for us and thanks for stopping by!

My Mother's Day gift to myself!!!!

I know it's early, but I am pleased with the way this video turned out! I remember mother's day 3 years ago, when I was pregger's with Alex. we spent the day @ my mom's. It was great we BBQ and took some video comments for Alex, I just remember we were all so excited! I was huge, ready to pop and my feet were swollen! It was a really good day! This year, I don't know what to do....a picnic sounds great, but I really want to see my mom. She lives about an hour and 1/2 away and I'd love to go see her, plus my sister who also lives there too, just had my niece about a month ago and I haven't seen her either. So, that would be great!

What's new?

Not much! But things are going very well! I moved out into my friends Jackie and Toby house! It's sooooo much better! I have my own room and full house privileges! It's great and I have privacy! I am so happy!
Nick and I are doing great! We just take a day at a time and I'm pretty impressed with us, if I do say so myself! We're really working on our relationship! He's been out here whenever he can and we really appreciate it! He is looking for work and has had some interviews, I hope he gets something soon!
Alexandra is doing great! You can tell she's more relaxed here and not so overwhelmed. She is so amazing. She has a hitting problem though, but we're working on that! She is going to be 3 at the end of May, Woo Hoo! I'm so excited!
So yeah that's what's going on just keep praying for us and hopefully things will get better soon!
